The project was in collaboration with the Public Art Fund and the City of New York. The waterfall was lit up at night.

When I visit the Brooklyn Bridge, the waterfall was not working. Then I dropped by The River Cafe at the foot of a bridge.
ブルックリンブリッジを訪ねてみると、その日、噴水は可動していなかった。そこで、橋のたもとのレストランに立ち寄った。
I found a sign of apology in the cafe.
“Please pardon our appearance. The garden and windows at The River Cafe have been badly damaged by The Waterfall Project.” A waiter complained that all plants perished since the waterfall spreads salt water.
店内にこんな表示を見つけた。「外観に関してお詫び申し上げます。リバーカフェの窓と植物は、滝のプロジェクトによって非常にダメージを受けてしまいました。」ウェイターに聞くと、「滝が川の塩水を撒き散らすので、すべて植物が枯れてしまった」とこぼしていた。
